Fantastic Weather Continues
- August 2010 - What great weather we've been having since July 1st! Folks in these parts refer to it as an "old fash'n summer". Temps in the upper 70's to low 80's during the day and down into the 50's at night. Very few rainy days. Fishing has been good but, the warm lake temps have pushed the bass into deeper(and cooler) water. White perch have been on the bite with reports of many fish being caught. Water surface temps have been holding at 74 to 76 degrees. Another heat wave is forcasted to end the month of August with temperatures in the mid-eighties. So, c'mon up for a great end of summer getaway!!

Due to it's extreme popularity, Sandalwood is completely booked for the 2010 season, but it's not too early to start thinking about Summer 2011. Most weeks are still available for next year! Please visit the Joe Lamb Jr. website for listings of many more great rental properties.

- "Walt" is one of our long-time, regular guests who comes up from his home in New Jersey 3 times a year! He recently celebrated his 93rd birthday(and still driving a car!!) with all of his family. We at The Lakeside wish him continued good health and many more birthdays to come!
